He’s standing on a stage, overlooking a crowd of individuals, seated in their seats and staring straight at him. He’s worried, that the individuals and their families that had come will be disappointed with his introduction, doubts plague his mind in which his eyebrows furrow slightly. Perspiration clings to his palms, his grip on his microphone tight but insecure, but when he feels his father’s hand pat his shoulder in reassurance he feels his nervousness go away. He lifts his microphone, staring at everyone ahead of him and smiles hesitantly.
“So. How do you know when the moon has enough to eat?” Silence, Baekhyun frowns slightly before parting his lips to speak, “When it’s full!”
There’s a snort from the audience, followed by a chorus of laughter, children’s high pitched shrieks filling the air as parents are wearing smiles on their lips. Baekhyun’s lips curve upwards, eyes curling into half crescents as he laughs to himself, he hands his microphone to his father before tilting his head back to stare above himself. The lights dim in the observatory, and people are reclining in their chairs, staring up at the dark ceiling that soon glows up with luminescent stars.
"Welcome to the Byun’s planetarium. Today we’ll start off with an introduction. You can call me Professor Byun, and this jokester here is my son Baekhyun, he’s going to be taking charge of this tour today.”
